Little Q&A
with
Lauren Ruth Ward

This is a special place where I post questions from the lovely community/fandom and from me that get answered from Lauren Ruth Ward herself.

Monthly two questions, one from me and one from the community. So it's fair I guess. ;-)

Let’stalk

Q&A January

Lara :

How do you feel about that intense support that is coming right now in general ?

Lauren Ruth Ward:

The support that's coming my way feels grounded. I am so very grateful for everything. As you read on my Patreon, there was a less simpler time when things felt kind of unmanageable. I'm really enjoying this page of my career where I'm able to truly connect with my supporters. 🫶

Lara :

Do you have new merch for the upcoming tour ?

Lauren Ruth Ward:

New merch! I'm going to make some more blouses. 🫶

I'm also going to put some things on a hard drive. Poetry, unreleased tunes, a bunch of BTS, what do you recommend ? What would you like to have a piece of ?

Q&A February

Lara :

Hey my love so we have February that means two new questions. Just answer if you have time for that.😘
We’re closer coming to the tour.
So … How long is your set going to be on tour with full band?

Lauren Ruth Ward:

Seth is going to be an hour! Knowing me, I will probably go over by playing an additional solo acoustic song.

Lara :

Now something about songwriting!🫶 Does your emotional state impact your productivity with songwriting/being creative? Does being happy, angry, sad etc make it easier/harder or have no impact?

Lauren Ruth Ward:

For sure, my emotional state affects my ability to show up for life, including songwriting, and being creative. I can power through pretty much any "negative" emotion. The hardest feeling for me to experience, while having to be creative/perform is exhaustion. I've done a good job, taking care of myself these past couple years, knowing when to pause, and sleep for a few days. so when I'm tired, but I have deadlines, it feels a bit torturous to not give my body the care(rest) it needs. 🫶🏼
